Profile                                                                 

Profile is a group of securities/contracts clubbed together and viewed in the Market Watch. Net.Net™ supports creation of well-diversified profiles. Each profile can contain a maximum of 20 scrips/contracts and can be configured in the market watch based on the user’s preferences. Five such profiles can be viewed in the market watch arranged one below the other.

Also, managing profiles is an easy and quick task in Net.Net™. Default profile selection is configurable that makes the most favorite profile to be displayed each time on Net.Net™ logon.

The Profiles created are arranged one below other in the market watch and can be switched on to different profiles as and when required.

Creating a New Profile

1. In the Market Watch, Click lookup.  The profile pane is displayed.

   

2. Place the mouse cursor in the Add New Profile text box.

3. Enter a profile name.

4. Click sign. A new profile is created and option to add new scrip is displayed. You can modify the profile name as required.

   

5. To add scrips in the Market Watch, click  (). The  Look Up field is enabled.

   

6. Select an Exchange.

7. Select an Instrument Type. If only one Instrument is available for an Exchange, the available Instrument Type is applied as default.

The Expiry Date, Strike Price, Option Type display NA, if respective values are unavailable.

8. Type Symbol. Typing minimum first three characters of the security name populates the list with all securities beginning with the given three characters. For example, FIN.

9. Click Add Scrip. All the scrips or contracts for that particular instrument type and symbol are displayed in Market Watch.

10. After adding the scrips you want, click Save to save the profile. On authentication, the profile is saved. A new Profile is created and displayed in the Market Watch.

    

11. Click Change, to hide the profile pane.

12. For making the profile available  each time on invoking the Net.Net™ application , click Default .

13. You can also create a new profile by clicking icon ().  An image is displayed.

    

14. Enter a new profile name.

15. Click Save. The Market Watch Profile saved  message is displayed.

    

Applying Profile

1. In the Market Watch Click lookup,  the profile pane is displayed.

   

2. Click a Profile name, from the list of profiles available in the Market Watch. The details of the selected profile are viewed in the Market Watch.

The Market Watch can display a single profile at a time.

Modifying Profile

At times, you may require editing a profile. Adding scrips or deleting the unwanted scrips is performed using the Profile List page.

1. In the Market Watch, Click lookup,  the profile pane is displayed.

   

2. Click a Profile name, from the list of profiles available from the profile pane. The details of the selected profile are viewed in the Market Watch.

3. In the Market Watch, click  (). The  Look Up field is enabled.

   

4. To add scrips, Select securities from the look up field.  Click Add  Scrip. All the scrips or contracts for that particular instrument type and symbol are displayed in Market Watch.

5. Click Save to save the profile. On authentication, the profile is saved. A new Profile is created and displayed in the Market Watch.

   

Removing Profile

1. In the Market Watch, Click lookup,  the profile pane is displayed.

   

2. Click a Profile name, from the list of profiles available in the Market Watch. The details of the selected profile are viewed in the Market Watch.

3. Click Remove Profile. The profile is removed.
